Starting condition of the kitchen sink.
The kitchen sink has a combination of rubber and caulk sealants that are no longer adhering to the sink and are impossible to clean. Time to remove all the old sealants.

After the new sealant, from both sides.
After removing the old sealant, some of the tile grout needed to be removed as well. The new sealant is kitchen and bathroom waterproof caulk. The sink was out of commission for a few days while the sealant cured. The old caulk at the green/while tile border was removed and a very thin layer of new sealant applied.
